Allen & Heath iLIVE 112-T on 2009 / 10 tour.

For Drayton Entertainment's North American 2009 tour Angus Audio found the ideal digital solution with an ALLEN & HEATH iLIVE 112-T digital mixing system.
The iLIVE 112-T surface provides a complete Front of House solution with an impressive 112 mixing channel capability. The system is designed with a digital snake employing digital lines using Ethernet (ACE) communication cable. A 48 x 24 snake head was included allowing a capability of 64 inputs and 32 outputs.

Drayton Theratre Group is currently touring the production of "Camelot" throughout North America.

His name was drawn from our On-Line form in conjunction with Molten Metal Mayhem 5 Concert sponsored by Angus Audio.

MOLTEN METAL 5 was held this year at the Lancaster Tavern and featured a line-up of area metal bands.

Powering the event was a set of Wharfedale TITAN 15 active subs, and ALLEN & HEATH console, an ELECTROVOICE amp system and ELECTROVOICE Cabinets.

As the principle sound system provider many of Waterloo Regions biggest cultural events, Angus Audio relies on our inventory of ELECTROVOICE and SENNHEISER components to deliver reliable, quality sound. Celebrating it's 12th anniversary in Cambridge, the expanding ROCK THE MILL Festival was held in Dickson Park and featured such acts as the JUNCTION and THE ARTIST LIFE. Supporting these acts, were the ELECTROVOICE P-Series ampliifers, ELECTROVOICE QRX-series full range cabinets, ELECTROVOICE MTL-series subwoofers as well as a wide variety of SENNEHISER wireless and specialty wired microphones.

Great Lakes Scenic Studios is a company that utilizes the best of creativity and ingenuity to generate solutions that exceed their customer's expectations.

Supplying the Audio requirements for their latest project, Angus Audio's Jason Blair and Marshall Angus assembled a package consisting of Sennheiser e835 microphones, Electrovoice RE-2 wireless systems, along with lightweight Behringer B215XL cabinets. Powering this system were a pair of all new BEHRINGER EP4000 amplifiers.

Now in their 12th year of business, Great Lakes Scenic has grown as a major fabricator to the theatre and amusement park industries, having fabricated and installed works throughout North America and internationally for a variety of clients such as: Clear Channel Exhibits, "Titanic – The Artifact Exhibit" for both North America and Europe, numerous Broadway shows including: Fosse, Follies, Metamorphoses, theming and parade floats for major theme parks. Trade show exhibits and retail displays are also an ever expanding portion of their business.

The Frank Foreman Youth Memorial Fund is a committee of dedicated and passionate community volunteers that is focused on raising money for the local community arts in memory of Frank Foreman. Frank had a tremendous passion for music both in and out of school. However, in March of 2005 he was killed in a car accident due to a speeding driver. Continuing Frank's passion to give back to the community an annual event is held within the City of Cambridge known as "Frankie's Song".

This year's headlining acts included The Artist Life and The Reason.

Kitchener's Registry Theatre recently upgraded their Audio System with premium sounding Electrovoice ZX series cabinets. Suspended for main coverage are a pair of Electrovoice ZX-5 cabinets, additional coverage is supplied by a pair of ZX-1 Cabinets.

Powering the ZX-5's and ZX-1's are a pair of the newly re-designed Q-66 II power amplifiers.

Featuring the new DVX3121 12-inch woofer and the ND2 neodymium compression driver, ZX3 continues the groundbreaking innovation and is truly in a class of its own. In addition to the highest performance drivers available, a complete range of optional accessories, including an array kit, wall/ceiling mount bracket, handle adapter and truss clamp adapter, which allow ZX3 to be easily and precisely configured in multiple box arrays, mounted on truss or tripods, deployed as monitors, or used as system mains with a subwoofer. Electro Voice ZX-3

On Saturday, January 17, 2009 Meltdown Snowboard Shop made history by hosting Kitchener’s first Professional Snowboard Rail Competition.

This free public event included crazy entertainment that kept the crowd wanting more!

Powering the event were ElectroVoice MTL subwoofers, QRX 115/75 2-way cabintes, and P-series power amplifiers...

Laurier Musical Theatre presented the "Grand Hotel" and Angus Audio was chosen to provide the wireless systems and house mix console.


Included in the system were 28 channels of Sennehiser ew-300 G2 wireless with antenna distribution, NET-1 integration, and MKE-2-GOLD low profile microphones. Mixing was performed on a Yamaha MCL7 digital console.

The Aviom A-16II Personal Mixer is the industry standard for Personal Monitor Mixing. This video guided tour explores some of the features and functions of the this ground-breaking technology.

Drayton Theatre Group has mounted a North American tour for their production of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and Angus Audio was chosen to provide wireless systems, touring house PA, and personal monitoring system for pit band members.


Powering the 2008-2009 North American tour are ElectroVoice QRX Cabinets and CP seires Power amplifiers. (8) QRX115/75 2-way top cabinets and (2) QRX218 dual 18" subwoofers provide house PA. Powering these cabinets is an ELECTROVOICE amprack consisting of one DC-ONE processor, 4 CP1800's , 3 CP2200's and 1 CP3000.

Included in this system was a state of the art AVIOM personal monitoring system featuring the AVIOM A-16D pro net distributor, six A-16 II personal mixers, and a AN-16/IM microphone module.

Wireless systems for the tour include 20 Sennheiser ew-300 G2 systems with ASP-2 antenna distribution and 1031 antenna paddles. Also included were 30 industry-standard low profile MKE-2 GOLD microphones.



This complete tour-ready system was designed by Angus Audio's Jason Blair and Dan Sprenger and assembled at the Cambridge Ontario Shop.
